East of the Web Short Stories is an open submission site and we are always on the look-out for fresh new voices. We continue to read all the submissions we receive and judge them on the quality of the writing, regardless of the author’s commercial experience. However, the standard of submissions is extremely high and you will be up against authors who take their writing seriously. Take time to read some of the stories on the site and if you think you have what it takes, we’d love to hear from you.

Clarkesworld is a science fiction magazine that has won numerous awards, including 3 Hugo Awards. They pay $0.10 a word for the first 5,000 words, and $.08 cents each word after that. That means a maximum total payment of up to $1,380. This list focuses on short story publishers.
Contributor copies are sent to writers and artists whose work appears in that issue. Contributed articles and guest posts for online publication may be submitted to for review. Special consideration is given to technique articles that can be tied to the theme of the issue. Using examples is a vital part of technique articles. Illustrate points with examples—either from your own writing or from well-known works .
I could possibly combine them into longer stories (1 – 3 and 11 – 13 could work as lengthened books). We don’t have a list of them yet, but googling “erotica publishers” shows a few articles you can check out. There are many, many more paying short story venues out there—no matter what, there’s a home for your work. Or you could always consider self-publishing your stories.
